Professor Ama Johal has trained over 2000 GDPs and is one of the leading clinicians in the UK on the subject of mandibular splints for snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). He is an expert in the field, carrying out much of the UK's clinical research into the effectiveness of Mandibular Splint Technology. With over 10 years of clinical experience, he has lectured extensively, both internationally and throughout the UK, at BDA and Section 63 events. His clinical experience and research in this field have been rewarded with numerous national and international prizes.
Professor Johal is a senior lecturer and consultant at Barts and the London Queen Mary's School of Medicine and Dentistry and is a member of the British Sleep Society.
