Lingual and Palatal Arch

Lingual and Palatal arches are used as holding or retaing appliances. The arch is attached to bands on the permanent molar teeth and will prevent them moving around the arch during fixed appliannce therapy. The appliances can also be used to aid arch expansion or to control molar position. It is normal for the arches to remain in place throughout the fixed appliance treatment.

Construction requirements
- Upper and lower impression in alginate
- Supply molar bands of choice (bands can be supplied upon request)
